2. Position Objective
A Junior Software Developer is responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of the infrastructure, hardware and software utilised for the company’s software development projects and goals.
3. Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Software Developing duties include:
Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure that software provides content and functionality that meets the business needs of the company
Maintain appropriate security and troubleshoots any issues
Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
Undertake training to support administration of existing applications
Testing and evaluating new programs
Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
Writing and implementing efficient code
Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
Technical and Administration Support duties include:
Provide technical direction by producing concepts tailored to the clients’ needs and specifications
Provide ongoing technical and administration support to SE Asian clients and other support staff, including Sales and Marketing team members
Liaise with Partner Companies on a daily basis and undertake work under instruction
Maintaining existing systems
Training users
Use of Video Conferencing in day to day work
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximise efficiency
Planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
Working closely with other developers, designers, business and systems analysts
4. Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Qualifications
A Degree and a technical background in either Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Software Engineering or Software Programming and Development
Proficient/Fluent in English as a first or secondary language
Driving License
Police Check in Country
Knowledge
Excellent expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, CSS3
Functional knowledge or hands on experience with Oracle and Apex
Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
Experience
A keen interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
Proven ability to deliver excellent service to clients and to the team, built on a can do attitude, strong interpersonal skills, confidence, and the ability to build rapport with others
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the flexibility to organise and prioritise work independently and deliver within tight deadlines
Planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
A high degree of diplomacy and discretion and an ability to maintain confidentiality
The ability to demonstrate initiative and work well both on your own and within a team environment.
The ability to work creatively within the instructions of the company including the software development of their product

6. Additional Information and Special Conditions
Hours of work are to be determined on a [weekly/monthly] basis by the Managing Director of Found Technology VN
Travel for work is required from time to time (Domestic and International)
Understands the dynamic nature and demands of working with and for people from abroad
